For years the consumption of White bread is denied by people with sculpted bodies. It turns out that everything depends on the body and it is white bread that appears to be dietary for you.
There is no bad bread - experts are convinced of that. It turns out that the human body reacts individually to food intake. This is especially true of bread. Thus, for some, white is best, while others respond better to wholemeal bread.
Israeli scientists have found that all the advice on white bread consumption is wrong. According to scientists at the Wiseman Institute, it doesn't matter what kind of bread we eat, and even white bread can be useful. It all depends on how our body perceives and processes it.
To prove their theory, the researchers looked at the levels of fat, cholesterol, glucose, intestinal bacteria and micronutrients of the participants in their tests.
To find out the differences and similarities in the consumption of wholemeal and white bread, the volunteers were divided into two groups. Half of them ate fresh wholemeal bread with yeast at will within a week, and the rest ate white bread. This was followed by a two-week rest period. After them, the participants exchanged roles.
The results are not only surprising, but they are about to break all the underlying stereotypes. The tests proved that in practice there is no clinically significant difference between the effect of these two types of bread, and neither of the measured parameters.
Researchers conclude that some people simply respond better to white bread and others to whole grains. This depends directly on the personal glycemic response and the individual combination of intestinal bacteria. The difference between the effects of the two types of bread is small and is not felt in practice. So, if you like white bread, don't hesitate next time and don't replace it with wholemeal just because you've been told it's more useful. It's all in the doses. If you eat moderately from all foods, not just bread, you will not have weight problems.
This is not the first proof of the benefits of white bread. A few years ago, it was proven that eating white bread increases the beneficial bacterium Lactobacillus. The reason is the refined grains in its composition, which often leave underestimated. And they undoubtedly increase the level of healthy bacteria in the body.
