Method of preparation: The tomatoes are cut in half and hollowed out so that they can be stuffed. In a bowl, mix the diced eggs, crab rolls, corn, mayonnaise, mustard, lemon juice and pepper to taste. Stir everything and fill the tomatoes with this mixture.
Lettuce leaves are washed and arranged as a base on the bottom of the plate in which the appetizer will be served. Arrange the stuffed tomatoes on a green mat.
Stuffed tomatoes with lentils
Necessary products: 300 g lentils, 1 carrot, 1 onion, 2 cloves garlic, 10 tomatoes, 3 tablespoons flour, salt and mint to taste, a lump of butter, a few sprigs of fresh parsley.
Method of preparation: The top of the tomatoes is removed, the inside is hollowed out and set aside. The lentils are washed and cleaned of rubbish and put to boil together with the finely chopped carrots and onions. When the products start to soften, add the finely chopped garlic cloves and butter.
Part of the water is taken and the dissolved flour in the tomato mixture, which is left from the inside of the carved tomatoes, is added to the lentils. Add mint and salt to taste. Necessary products: 8 tomatoes, 1 crushed clove of garlic, 3-4 tbsp olive oil, salt and pepper to taste, 5 tbsp finely chopped fresh basil leaves, oregano and thyme.
Method of preparation: The top of the tomatoes is removed, but the lids are preserved. Arrange the tomatoes in a greased pan with the open part up and make light incisions with a knife inside them in order to better absorb the aromatic herbs and spices. You can also lightly cut them into 4 parts in half. Make a dressing of all other products and pour each tomato with it. Cover with a tomato lid and bake in a preheated 220 degree oven. Served garnished with fresh spices.
