The International Exhibition for Agriculture Green Week 2015 was officially opened on January 15 in Berlin. For the 80th time, the exhibition opens its doors, during which more than 1,600 exhibitors from 70 countries will present their products in areas such as horticulture, agriculture and the food industry.

Bulgaria will participate in the Green Week exhibition for the 26th time. Our country has its own stand with a size of 104 square meters, which was opened by the Minister of Agriculture and Food Desislava Taneva. Organic products, Panagyurishte sausage and Elena fillet are just some of the products that will impress foreigners.

13 Bulgarian companies will exhibit their products. These are wines and organic wine, compotes, foods based on traditional meat recipes, dairy products (yellow cheese, cheese and milk), organic beef, jam and fruit drinks, organic honey.

Of the traditional meat recipes, the most famous that will impress foreigners are Elena fillet, Panagyurishte sausage, Trapezitsa roll.

Thanks to these products typical for our country, Bulgaria will try to win over foreigners and at the same time will look for new markets in Europe.

The exhibition runs until January 25. The partner country of the international forum is Latvia, under the motto Take your time. Last year, 15 Bulgarian exhibitors took part in the exhibition.

During the opening of the home stand, Minister Taneva stated that Bulgarian organic products are one of the highlights in the presentation of our country at the international exhibition.

She stated that there is a future and opportunities for organic products in Bulgaria and that measures have been taken under the Rural Development Program, which focus precisely on organic production.

During his visit to the German capital Berlin, the minister will hold meetings with the agriculture ministers of Georgia, Mongolia, Austria and Romania.
