It is a little known fact, however, that the founder of the White Brotherhood, which continues to have hundreds of thousands of followers today, in addition to leaving behind countless valuable spiritual advice and guidance, also paid attention to proper nutrition. Because good health is achieved through food.

Peter Deunov paid special attention not only to which products should be included in the daily menu and which should not, but also how to properly prepare the food itself. Here are some of Peter Deunov's invaluable tips regarding food and its preparation:

- One should make every effort to consume raw vegetables and fruits without subjecting them to heat treatment. If necessary, the best method, according to Deunov, is by cooking, but in compliance with some basic rules;

- Never keep peeled and chopped vegetables even for 1 minute. They should be processed immediately before cooking, because in contact with the air every second they lose much of their useful vitamins and trace elements;

- With the exception of ripe beans, all other vegetables must be subjected to rapid heat treatment so as not to lose their valuable qualities. Everything is washed well, cut into whatever shape we want and put in boiling water. Boil over medium heat for no more than 20 minutes;

- To make cooked vegetables or legumes tastier, you should never open the lid of the dish in which you cook them and sing during their preparation;

- According to Deunov, the emphasis should be on the consumption of onions, because it effectively fights cancer and multiple sclerosis. Onions, however, should be eaten raw or cooked, but peeled and whole;

- For Deunov, the universal food was bread, but we should not forget the legumes. Invaluable to him was the butter, which he thought should be consumed at 500 g per month, especially by children and adults;

- Horseradish, which contains substances that cannot be obtained by the human body, was also invaluable. And the healing properties of this root have really proven themselves over time.
