In this case, it's not just about which foods to focus on and which to avoid, nor about any particular diet. Peter Deunov leaves behind a whole philosophy, built on the eating habits of man, which continues to be observed today by his followers.

- According to Deunov, people should eat together, because when eating a well-cooked meal, the bad relations between them fade and it is possible that even enemies become friends;
- One should always enjoy food, not cram greedily. Each bite is good to chew 32 times - just as many teeth in the human mouth. In this way, not only do we really feel the taste of what we swallow, but our senses open up, and the food itself gives us energy;
- Each person should consume a portion of food appropriate to his age. For example, older people should consume no more than 12 bites, and young people - as many as 21. It is justified by the fact that young people need more food to have the strength for love, and adults symbolize wisdom;
- Deunov is an opponent of fasting, because according to him they harm the human body. At the same time, he recommended giving the stomach at least 2-3 days a month to rest and drinking only warm water during that time. Although this body is regarded by him as a servant, it needs purification in order to serve us faithfully;
- Unlike modern nutritionists, Peter Deunov encouraged people to eat something sweet from time to time, so as not to make their lives bitter and to be able to conscientiously perform their daily duties;
- An important place in Deunov's philosophy on eating habits is wheat. He believed that a person could easily spend a lot of time just eating wheat without compromising his health. It is on this theory that the world's unique wheat diet is based.
