French cuisine nowadays it has been brought to the level of art. The food and the way it is consumed are the result of many years of development of culture and traditions.

In this line of thought, one of the most valuable treasures of today's France is its cuisine. For everyone, breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It must be complete and satisfying. According to different tastes and habits, some prefer it to be sweet, others salty, light or plentiful.

Breakfast in France is called le petit déjeuner (small lunch) and usually consists of slices of French bread spread with butter. The most popular are bagels. The local bakeries offer dozens of varieties, flavored with nuts, smoked meats and cheeses, with fruit and much more.

A good breakfast can consist of brioche (tastes like Easter cake with a specific shape), croissant with jam or chocolate.

Coffee with milk and freshly squeezed orange juice must be present at the morning table. Unlike other national cuisines sausages, ham, eggs are removed from the morning menu.

Breakfast is much lighter and quantitatively well measured, but at the same time well balanced to make the Frenchman feel refreshed and full.
