The dough is placed in a bowl greased with oil, covered with cling film and left warm for 45 minutes. Knead the dough again and add the raisins.
The dough is cut into fourteen equal pieces, round rolls are formed and placed on a greased pan. The rolls are lightly pressed to make them flatter.
Make a small cross-shaped cut on each roll. Cover the rolls with cling film and leave for another 45 minutes.
The flour for decoration is mixed with water and with the help of a syringe or a paper funnel with a cut end, crosses are drawn on the rolls.
Bake in a preheated 200 degree oven for twenty minutes until golden. They are taken out to cool on a rack.
The glaze is prepared from milk, which is boiled with sugar and boiled for one minute until a thick syrup is obtained. The warm rolls are smeared with the glaze.
The Polish Easter cake is very spectacular. It is prepared from 2 teaspoons of flour, 1 teaspoon of sugar, a quarter teaspoon of salt, half a cup of softened butter, 1 egg, 3 tablespoons of liquid cream. For the decoration you need 200 grams of raisins, 200 grams of chopped walnuts, 400 grams of strawberry or raspberry jam, half a cup of sugar.
Mix the dry ingredients and add the butter, cut with a knife and add the egg and cream. Knead the dough, spread it on a greased pan. Bake for half an hour in an oven preheated to 200 degrees.
The ingredients for the decoration are mixed, the warm tray is spread with them. Bake again for about fifteen minutes at 170 degrees. Cut into equal squares.
