Wine is part of world and Bulgarian life and is often present at our table. Few of us are aware of the label and how exactly to drink, serve wine. This is a drink that brings pleasure, it does not quench thirst and is not drunk in quantities - it is consumed to bring pleasure to the senses.

On August 3, the United States decided to celebrate White Wine Day, which is an occasion for us to talk a little more for the label when serving and consuming white wine.

To learn how wine is consumed, we must first know how to serve, what is the label, what we should do and what not, what is the right cup, etc.

It matters what the wine is - whether red wine, rose or White wine. The difference in wines is not only in the type of glass, but also in the temperature at which the drink is served.

Let's look at some tips on how to serve and consume white wine:

1. Temperature - In fact, each wine has its own serving temperature - the most suitable for it, at which its qualities can best be distinguished. But as a general rule, white wines are served at a temperature of 11 to 14 degrees, dessert white wine, as well as sweet white wines, should be between 6 and 8 degrees;

2. The cup - In order to fully appreciate the qualities of the wine, we need to choose the right glass. The wine glasses are made of transparent and thin glass. They are more suitable for white wines tulip-shaped cups, ie slightly open at the top. The size is medium - neither too big and deep, nor small as an aperitif. In addition, the wine glasses have a stool - usually about 5 cm high;

3. Serving - The stopper must be in a separate plate on the right side of the host. Usually, according to the label, the host has to taste the wine, to taste it;

4. How far to fill the glasses - white wines are poured to 2/3 of the glass, in no case more. Do not allow yourself to fill the glasses to the brim;

5. Decanting - mandatory for white wines. Decanting means pouring the wine into a special vessel, the purpose of all this being to saturate the wine with oxygen. For white wines, this is done just before they are served at the table;

6. What food is appropriate for its consumption - It's best emphasizes the taste of white wine, if combined with light meats, mushrooms and hors d'oeuvres, are also suitable for fish. If there is cheese on the table, you can again count on white wine.
