The benefits of coffee are painfully known to us from all sorts of campaigns to promote it. Easier waking up and tone are just a few of them. But let's ask ourselves if every coffee on the market is that useful.

A cup of freshly brewed coffee with milk is an ideal way to tone up. Its aroma stimulates moderate secretion of serotonin - a hormone of happiness, and an antidepressant. The result of moderate use is obvious - mood and cheerfulness.

But what about instant coffee?

The content of its coffee beans is minimal - about 15%. And the quality is often questionable, as most coffee bean growers sell the "bad" beans to instant coffee growers.

On the other hand, in the production of instant coffee, the Robusta variety is used, not the quality Arabica. This reduces costs by up to 10 times, while robusta contains much more caffeine - ie. allows less coffee to be used.

In the production of coffee beans, they are subjected to frying and grinding to particles with a size of 1.5-2 mm. This is followed by a few hours in hot water at a pressure of 15 atmospheres. The resulting extract was cooled, filtered and dried with hot air, and finally cooled to a powder.

And since there is only 15% coffee, the rest of the instant coffee is dyes and flavors. On the other hand, the caffeine it contains has nothing to do with that in fresh coffee.

Because it has gone through several stages of processing, the caffeine in instant coffee is excreted from the body for 10 hours, and the tonic effect lasts only 2-3 hours. Hence the overdose of caffeine, which is harmful to health.

Packets 3in1

Instant coffee 3in1 is preferred by many people because it has a weak effect and does not have the effect of real coffee. However, these properties of this "unexpectedly good combination" are due to the minimal caffeine content. It is made mainly from sugar, glucose syrup, vegetable oil, instant coffee and milk protein.

The small packets of instant coffee also have a high content of harmful E's. Only 100 g of it contains 418 kcal, 1.7 g of protein, 77.3 g of carbohydrates and 12.8 g of fat.

The production of coffee in packets is the same as instant coffee, but at the end all the listed products are added to it. Thus, it becomes very far from the familiar real and aromatic coffee.
