Have you ever considered that you can grow plants that not only beautify your home, but also have the ability to heal. A typical example of this is what we know indrishe, which we can see in many Bulgarian homes and which is always a delight for the eyes.
But in addition to beautifying our homes and even using it to add flavor to our sweets and compotes, it also has healing properties, which is why it is also called an herb. And it is actually a very effective herb that takes care of the health of our heart - the most important human organ. Here's how you can use it:
1. Medicinal mixture of indrishe for heart rhythm disorders
Crush in a wooden mortar 20 apricot kernels, 20 green indrishe leaves and 1 tbsp. cinnamon. Separately grind 4 large lemons with the peel, but without the seeds, and add to them 500 g of natural honey. Add the lemon-honey mixture to the crushed products and mix everything very well. Put in a jar and store in a cool, dark place. Take 1 tbsp. 3 times a day, but 2 hours after meals.
2. Indrishe porridge for high blood pressure
In a wooden mortar, crush 100 g walnuts, 20 almonds, 20 indrishe leaves with stalks, 20 geranium leaves and 4 large lemons with peel, but without seeds. When everything looks like a thick paste, add to it 500 g of honey, 10 g of valerian tincture and 1 tbsp. cinnamon. Stir and store the medicinal mixture in the refrigerator. Take 1 tbsp. 3 times a day 30 minutes before meals.
3. Indrishe to lower blood sugar
Finely chop about 30 fresh indrishe leaves and add 500 g of honey and a little lemon juice to taste. Take 1 tsp. 3 times a day before meals.
If you do not care so much to prepare this mixture, you can just eat 2 fresh indrishe leaves about 30 minutes before eating.
However, keep in mind that this medicinal plant really lowers blood sugar very quickly and it is good to consult a doctor or an experienced herbalist before prescribing self-medication, especially if you are diabetic. An overdose of the herb can lead to hypoglycemia.
