Our grandparents are gifted with longevity and health because of the way they ate in the past. Most likely, most of us will not be able to live to their old age again because of the food we put on our table without thinking.
The change in the way of eating of the Bulgarians is more than obvious, but unfortunately it is not in a good direction. Our daily menu includes foods and products that are extremely harmful to health. Here are the most harmful of them, which unfortunately can be found at almost every home table:
Sausages
Sausages are the meat of low-income people. The truth is that they do not contain meat - they are produced from animal waste - IOM (minced organs and fat), soy, bacon and water. This group can also include short-lived sausages, which contain a whole bunch of preservatives, colors and flavors.
Mayonnaise
You need to distinguish between homemade mayonnaise and store-bought mayonnaise, whose only natural ingredient is sunflower oil. In addition, kupeshka mayonnaise contains preservatives, starch and more.
Carbonated soft drinks
Their regular use is guaranteed to bring you extra pounds, gastritis, colitis and a bunch of other troubles. If you still can't do without them, choose those made with sugar or corn glucose syrup over those made with artificial sweeteners.
Chips
The next time you decide to buy your child a packet of chips, think about what exactly you will give him - a calorie bomb, which sooner or later will affect his health and weight. With chips, your body receives an awful lot of calories in the form of fat, which is directly deposited on your organs.
Bacon (lard)
It is true that in the past our parents could afford it, but they did a lot more physical effort towards us. Nowadays, their use will inevitably lead to high cholesterol, clogged arteries and obesity. You should also pay attention to foods that have a high content of bacon and fat, which remains hidden - sausages, frankfurters, pâtés and more.
Margarine
Margarine is a hydrogenated vegetable oil, colorants and flavors that have no place on your table.
Croissants and other pastries
They are full of sugar, hydrogenated vegetable oil and a whole bunch of stabilizers, colorants and preservatives, for short E's.
The list of harmful foods, which are present at the table of the Bulgarians, can be supplemented by white sugar, which is consumed in large quantities in most households.
To it we will add pate, ketchup, the widely advertised fast snacks, saltines, pickles and corn sticks, as well as instant drinks and smoked meats, fish and sausages.
