Necessary products: 200 g soft butter, 80 g powdered sugar, 1 egg, 200 g almond marzipan, 300 g flour, 1 equal tsp. baking powder, 100 g of natural chocolate, 100 ml of liquid cream, 20 g of butter
Method of preparation: Beat the butter and sugar with a mixer until you get a cream. Add the egg and finely grated marzipan. Stir until smooth. Add the flour with the baking powder and knead a soft dough.
Cover the pan with baking paper. The dough is made into walnut-sized balls. Arrange in a tray at a distance of 2 cm from each other. With the help of a wine cork, indentations are made in the balls.
The oven is heated to 170 degrees. Place the pan and bake for about 12-15 minutes or until pink.
Next is the preparation of the filling. Heat the cream, chocolate and butter. The mixture should be hot enough to melt the chocolate and butter, but not to boil. Stir until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.
The resulting filling is poured into a bag or in a plastic bag, on which one corner is cut. The pre-made indentations of the sweets are filled with the still liquid filling. Allow to cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Store in a tightly closed box.
Rolls filled with marzipan
Necessary products:
For the dough: 250 g flour, 1 tsp. cinnamon powder, a pinch of salt, 50 g powdered sugar, 1 egg, 1 yolk, 150 g cold butter
For the filling: 400 g almond marzipan, 100 g finely ground raw pistachios, 50 g powdered sugar, 2 - 3 tbsp. liquid cream
For the glaze: 2 tbsp. rum, 100 g powdered sugar, 2 tbsp. chopped pistachios for sprinkling
Method of preparation: First prepare the dough. In a bowl, mix the flour, cinnamon, powdered sugar and salt. A well is made in the middle, in which the egg and the yolk are poured. The butter is cut into small pieces and added to the flour. The result is mixed into a smooth and sticky dough. Put in a plastic bag and put in the refrigerator for about an hour.
Next is the preparation of marzipan. In a bowl, mix the chopped pieces of marzipan, pistachios and powdered sugar. The ingredients are mixed by hand. The result is divided into 4-6 equal pieces. Each of them is formed into a roll.
The cooled dough is divided into as many pieces as there are marzipan rolls. Each of them is rolled into a thin crust to wrap the marzipan rolls. Butter crusts are smeared with a little cream. A roll is placed on each of them marzipan and turns. The dough is rolled at both ends so that it completely covers the marzipan.
The oven is heated to 170 degrees. The rolls are baked for about 15-20 minutes.
For the glaze in a bowl, mix the rum and powdered sugar. Pour the resulting sauce over the warm rolls and sprinkle with crushed pistachios. The rolls are cooled completely and cut into pieces.
