The liquid base for hot chocolate can be liquid cream, fresh milk or water. Chocolate made with milk or cream is tastier, but contains more calories.

The best option is to use equal amounts of water and milk. Thus, the chocolate dissolves better and becomes lighter and more delicate in taste.

You can add whatever you want to the hot chocolate. The yolk and cream give the drink density and make it more saturated.

Alcohol and spices saturate the hot chocolate with a unique taste. Cognac, rum, liqueur, cinnamon, vanilla, ginger, cardamom, dried fruit and ice cream go well with chocolate.

The preparation of hot chocolate is done in two steps - melting and mixing. The chocolate must be melted very carefully and must not be allowed to boil.

The safest way is to melt a water bath. In a saucepan with boiling water put a smaller saucepan containing the pieces of chocolate. Melt over low heat and stir with a wooden spoon until completely melted.

Be careful not to get the water in the chocolate, because it will cross. Never overheat the chocolate. If you decide to make chocolate with egg yolk, you must be careful not to boil the mixture.

Pour the yolk in a thin stream, stirring constantly so that it does not boil, because it will cross. Experiment and add to the hot chocolate everything that will bring you joy and pleasure.

In the most common hot chocolate put only 50 grams of natural chocolate and 100 milliliters of milk, in which add warm water according to preferences. But if you want to improve the taste, you can add spices and products to your liking.

For 4 servings you need 150 grams of chocolate, 900 ml of milk, 2 bananas, a pinch of cinnamon. Peel the bananas and cut them into pieces, break the chocolate and put on low heat.

Add the milk in a thin stream. Stir constantly, not allowing the mixture to boil. Once the chocolate is completely melted, remove from the heat.

Beat the mixture in a blender until foamy. Pour into glasses and sprinkle with cinnamon before serving. When serving hot chocolate, you should also serve mineral water, because it often tastes too sweet and rich.
