Klafuti is a French cake with a magical aroma and taste. Its name comes from Romance and means stuffing. Klafuti consists of dough and fruit filling. The classic dessert is prepared with cherries or sour cherries, on which the stalks and stones are left. However, its varieties are much more. Here you will find three excellent recipes for klafuti.
Klafuti with apricots
Necessary products: Butter, granulated sugar, 3 eggs, ½ tsp. sugar, 6 tbsp. flour, 1 tsp. whipped cream, 2 tsp. vanilla essence, 1 tsp. lemon peel, a pinch of salt, 2 tbsp. peach liqueur, 6-8 apricots
Method of preparation: Eggs and 1/3 tsp. sugar beat on a mixer. Add the flour, whipped cream, vanilla essence, lemon peel, pinch of salt and peach liqueur. The mixture is set aside for 10 minutes.
Grease the baking tray with oil and sprinkle with granulated sugar on the bottom and walls. Peel the apricots and peel them. Cut into large slices and place in the pan. Pour the finished dough on them and bake for about 35-40 minutes in a preheated oven at 180 degrees.
Clafuti with cherries
Necessary products: 2 tsp cherries, 2 tbsp. peeled almonds, 3 eggs, 1 tsp. white sugar, 1 tbsp. brown sugar, a pinch of salt, ½ tsp. flour, 1 tsp. fresh milk, 2 tsp. almond extract, 1 ½ vanilla essence, powdered sugar
Method of preparation: Cherries are mixed with almonds. Add the eggs, both types of sugar, a pinch of salt and ½ tsp. flour. Stir until smooth. Add the milk, almond extract and vanilla essence. Beat until smooth. The resulting mixture is poured into a greased and floured pan. Bake at 180 degrees for 40-50 minutes. The finished dessert is taken out and left to cool. Serve sprinkled with powdered sugar.
Clafuti with apple and raspberries
Necessary products: 425 g raspberries, 1 apple, 1 tbsp. powdered sugar, 1 tbsp. vanilla extract, 2 tbsp. flour, powdered sugar
Method of preparation: Preheat the oven to medium heat. The grill is placed 20 cm from the rheotans. Grease the baking dish. At the bottom are the raspberries and the finely chopped apple.
In a separate bowl mix the sour cream and cooking cream, 1 egg, 1 tbsp. powdered sugar, 1 tbsp. vanilla extract and 2 tbsp. flour. Stir until the products are well mixed. The result is poured on the fruit. The dessert is baked for ten minutes. After cooling, sprinkle with powdered sugar. It can be served with ice cream or sour cream.
