Gorna Oryahovitsa is one of the Bulgarian cities, which can proudly boast of its many years of experience and preserved traditions in the field of confectionery.

The dozens of exhibits that will become part of the exhibition are related to the production of various cakes, as well as their packaging and various methods of storage.

Sweet vices and memories will present the products of one of the first producers of sweets in Bulgaria - Obreshkov, Sugar Factory, Orbis and Bratya Tsvetkovi. They are among the first major producers of sugar, boza and baklava in the country.

The preserved museum exhibits will be accompanied by photographs and documents describing the trade routes that confectionery companies in the past had to follow in order to be sold on the market.

The documented data will tell how the first chocolate came to Bulgaria through the Russians, and before trying it in our country it was believed that cocoa was used only for pharmaceutical purposes.

The jubilee exhibition will also feature works from the contemporary art of young Bulgarian artists. The works were inspired by the Bulgarians' favorite Turkish delight, sugar, waffles and candies.

Some of the works in the exhibition are called Superlukche, Lemon Slices and Edno Lukche resto.
