Meatballs are a favorite dish of young and old and whether they are meat or lean, they are regularly present at our table. Interestingly, each country has its own recipes for their preparation and serving, so it is good to get acquainted with some variants of meatballs from the world cuisine:

French meatballs

Necessary products: 10 thin slices of ham, 1 curly salad, 500 g potatoes, 1 onion, 300 g peas, 5 tablespoons oil, salt, pepper and grated nutmeg to taste, 1 egg; for the sauce - 1 tbsp vinegar, 1 tbsp oil, 1 tsp mustard, salt and pepper to taste

Method of preparation: Peas are boiled in salted water and half of it is mashed. Mix with the grated onion and potatoes, egg, nutmeg, salt and pepper to taste and after everything is well mixed, add the unpeeled peas. From this mixture meatballs are formed, which are fried on both sides in oil. Serve with ham and sliced and seasoned salad prepared from vinegar, mustard, oil and spices.

Scottish meatballs

Necessary products: 1 kg seasoned minced pork, 8 hard-boiled eggs, 4 fresh eggs, 200 g breadcrumbs, salt and pepper to taste, frying oil

Method of preparation: The minced meat is mixed with 1 of the raw eggs, and the boiled ones are peeled. If necessary, season the minced meat with salt and pepper. A layer of minced meat is placed on top of each boiled egg so that it covers it completely, after which the meatballs prepared in this way are rolled in the beaten eggs, then in the breadcrumbs and fried in oil. Drain and leave for about 10 minutes to bake in a preheated oven.

Necessary products: 1 kg minced beef, 6 eggs, 7 tomatoes, salt and pepper to taste, crushed rusks for rolling and frying oil

Method of preparation: Knead the minced meat together with 4 eggs and season with salt and pepper. From this mixture oblong meatballs are prepared, which are dipped in beaten eggs and crushed breadcrumbs and fried until golden in oil. Bring the tomato juice to a boil, season with salt and pepper and place the prepared meatballs in it. Boil until the liquid begins to rise.
