Bulgarian lemon has all the chances to be entered in the Guinness Book of World Records. The citrus giant weighs nearly one kilogram and was grown not anywhere, but in the village of Poleto, Blagoevgrad region.

The proud landlord who raised this one giant lemon, is Lachezar Zahov, who swears to reporters from various media that no chemicals were used to grow the lemon.

The owner claims that he took care of the citrus tree like any other normal tree - mostly with love. As a result, he received a natural organic product with impressive dimensions.

Not only Zahov, but also the other residents of the Blagoevgrad village were surprised by the size of the lemon.

This is not the first case when giant citrus fruits are harvested in this part of Bulgaria.

A few years ago, a fruit weighing 945 grams was harvested in Kresna. Zahov's lemon weighs about 955 grams, which means it weighs 10 grams more than the previous record holder.

Lemon juice can produce as much lemon juice as at least a dozen ordinary lemons, says the proud owner, who has no plans to see if this is the case.

Lachezar Zahov has been growing exotic plants for years. He also gives valuable advice to all who want to grow citrus in our country.

According to him, to enjoy an excellent harvest, you need to change the soil every fall and water the tree every 2-3 days, the plants themselves should be grown in colorful shade, not in direct sunlight.

In the garden of the proud owner from Blagoevgrad grow more tangerines and horsetail. He announced that he would not sell the lemon, but would apply for entry in the Guinness Book of World Records.
