A second cheese festival will be held in a few days in Slivnitsa. The event, which aims to promote Bulgarian dairy products among the population, will take place on May 14th and 15th in the new sports hall in the city.
It is planned that the tasty event will be organized in the form of an exhibition-bazaar and present the best of domestic production. It will be held under the motto From Bulgarian, most Bulgarian - the white gold of Bulgaria and will show the guests the works of thirty dairies and over fifty companies.
During the festival days, the guests of the event will be able to taste the cheeses on display and give it an evaluation. And at the end of the event, the producers of the dairy products most liked by the guests will be awarded in the Audience Award. A Mayor's Award is also planned, which will be given to the company with the best performance.
In addition to tasting, the program of the holiday will also include a diverse folklore program, competitions, parade of participants. Miss and Mr. Festival will also be chosen. Folk ensembles from the capital and the country will take care of the cheerful mood of the guests. Expect many delicious moments and races.
Organizers of the Cheese Festival are the Municipality of Slivnitsa, the Association of Professional Chefs, the Association of Dairy Producers in the country and others.
The event will be free, and during it guests will be able to buy groceries directly from their producers.
