A tree bears 40 different types of fruit, including peaches and apricots, plums, cherries and others.

These multi-fruited trees have been planted in many American cities - they can be seen in Short Hills, Pound Ridge, Santa Fe, Louisville.

These amazing trees are planted by the sculptor Sam van Aiken - he manages to ennoble existing trees by grafting cuttings or buds of different types of fruit trees.

Some time ago, the sculptor from the University of Syracuse bought an orchard at the State Agricultural Experimental Station. It belonged to the state of New York and was to be abandoned in 2008. It was there that Aiken began his experiments and soon gained serious experience.

First, the artist began a detailed study of what time of year the different 250 trees bloom and developed a schedule to combine different types of fruit into a common tree.

Aacon's difficult task was ultimately worth it because it worked. The sculptor has even donated 16 of his fruit trees to community centers, collectors and museums in various parts of the United States.

Aiken explains that, in fact, the trees are no different from the rest for most of the year. However, when it comes time to bloom, the branches that give different fruits bloom in different colors and in different ways.

Aacon's fruit creations are valued because instead of producing huge amounts of one type of fruit that is difficult to eat, they produce a small but varied production of different types of fruit.

Each of the trees blooms in several colors - white, pink and scarlet. The creator of the tree claims that in fact his contribution to the creation of the tree is very small and the main credit goes to nature.

It takes about five years to create each tree, and all those who already enjoy this new type of tree in their gardens claim that they produce completely normal and delicious fruits.
