The news was announced by the Minister of Agriculture Rumen Porojanov in front of Darik. About a month ago, the expert tests of the Bulgarian authorities began, which had to establish whether there is a difference in the products of one brand, offered on the western markets and offered in our country.
According to the information provided, so far a difference has been reported in soft drinks, as in those for the Bulgarian market sugar has been replaced by isoglucose (corn syrup).
Baby food is also sold in lower quality in Bulgaria. The cheeses have deviations in taste, and those intended for Western markets have a more pronounced taste and aroma of milk.

offered in Bulgaria, and food purchased in supermarkets from Austria, Germany, Italy, Switzerland and Denmark.
A year ago, the Czech Republic raised the issue, saying that in neighboring Germany, goods of the same brand are sold in different qualities.
A comparative analysis of the University of Chemical Technology in Prague found that of the 24 products studied (chocolate, cheese, margarine, coffee) in one third of them there are significant differences between composition and quality.
For this reason, the Visegrad Four from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Poland are formed. Their aim is to put an end to this practice by asking the European Commission for a law obliging manufacturers to offer goods of the same quality and taste throughout Europe.
