In the village of Smilyan the annual production of beans is 20-40 tons of beans. This does not allow for global development. For local producers, however, it is enough to establish themselves at home and stop fraud.

The area where the beans grow is characterized by mild winters and cool summers. The main factors that affect its quality are the geographical location, the air and the altitude.
