One third of the vegetables are mashed by adding 300 milliliters of boiling water. Add the vodka, salt and sprinkle with black pepper.

The remaining vegetables are mashed with 450 milliliters of boiling water. Bring to the boil, remove from the heat and add cream to each plate when serving.
