Anyone who has tried the homemade bread knows what it tastes like. Of course, in our busy daily lives we can hardly afford to knead dough every day.

But if you have a special occasion and you want to delight your loved ones with a delicious homemade pie, here you will find useful tips for its preparation.

There are various recipes for homemade bread, in some of which, in addition to the main components, which are flour, water, yeast and salt, different types of fat, milk and other additional ingredients are used. This is also not a bad idea, but if you want to make homemade bread in its simplest and most traditional form, here's how to make it:

As already mentioned, all you need is flour, water, yeast and salt. Usually a medium-sized homemade bread requires a little more than 1 kg. flour.

Regarding yeast, you can use both diced and dry yeast, but personally I recommend this one, diced. Make sure it is fresh, this is very important. When you open the packet, the color should be sandy and the yeast should be soft to the touch.

You can use different amounts of yeast, depending on how fast you want the dough to "rise". However, if you overdo it with yeast, there is a danger that the bread will become crumbly after baking.

It is best to prepare a loaf, use half a cube - about 10 g of yeast. Dissolve it in advance in 500 ml of warm but not hot water. Stir well.

Then choose the container in which you will knead the dough. It can be a tray or other suitable container. Pour half of the flour, add half a teaspoon of salt and slowly add the water with the yeast dissolved in it, while kneading the dough.

Continue until the dough is thick, but by no means firm. It should not stick to your hands, but it should remain soft to the touch. Leave it to rise in a warm place.

After doubling its volume, knead it again with a little flour, shape the bread and bake in a preheated oven / 180-200 degrees / until the crust turns brown. Do not wrap the bread, just let it cool to room temperature.
