Ingredients for white elderberry syrup for about 6 liters of syrup:

1. Elder flowers - 60 pcs.
2. Sugar - 4 kg or less
3. Citric acid - 4 sachets
4. Clean or filtered water - 4 liters
Soaking time - 24 hours or 48 - the more, the better.
Preparation of the syrup:
Elder flowers are soaked in water so that all the flowers of the water are well covered.
After a day they released their aromas into the water. It is filtered through gauze or a strainer and citric acid and sugar are added. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved. If desired, and for more freshness you can add freshly squeezed lemon juice.
The syrup is poured into glass bottles to the top so that no air remains and stored in the refrigerator or in a cool place. Dilute with water in a ratio of 1: 9.
