Everyone has heard that refined products are very harmful and that they gain weight, and for diabetics are even dangerous in terms of health. However, it is important to understand why this is so and how to understand which products are refined and which are not.

The labels of most refined products clearly indicate that they are refined. We have encountered refined oil, refined sugar, refined butter, etc.

All refined fats, such as oil and sugar, have undergone some heat treatment, in which they have virtually lost their valuable ingredients and their fatty acids have become trans fats, which have a proven harmful effect on our health and are a major cause of the accumulation of extra pounds.

When we talk about refined fats, we can't help but mention margarine, which probably holds the ranking of the biggest pest of refined products. It should be completely excluded from our menu and replaced with normal unrefined oil.

But it's not just refined fats that are harmful. This also applies in full force to refined carbohydrates, which are actually deprived of all their valuable ingredients and have no nutritional value. This includes white bread made from refined flour.

And we all know that the ordinary Bulgarian consumes almost every meal one or two slices of bread. That's why you should choose only wholemeal bread or black bread.

Keep in mind that traders have also put a trick here, because even if the bread looks black and says it is dietary, it may contain malt, with which it is artificially colored.

Consuming this product raises blood sugar quickly, which is especially risky for people suffering from diabetes. And for the rest, it is enough just to know that by eating such a supposedly dietary product not only that they will not satisfy their hunger, but they will quickly start to have weight problems.

Generally speaking, you should consume what nature has created, because it has not been processed and therefore not refined.

This applies even to natural juices, although it says on them that they do not contain sugar. To make sure you are consuming real fruit juice, just make fresh juice that will charge you with energy and will have a beneficial effect on your health and mood.
