For this purpose, the leaves are boiled in 1 cup of water and then left to stand in it for 15 minutes. The resulting decoction is filtered, diluted with water to reach the initial amount and taken a few tablespoons three times a day before each main meal.
Quince leaves and seeds are used to make diuretic tea for kidney complaints. Both the leaves and the seeds must be dried. Boil one spoon of the two components in a glass of water and leave for 5-6 minutes in it. Strain the decoction with gauze. Take 1 tablespoon 3-4 times a day.
Quince leaves can also be used in cosmetics. They make a light hand lotion. The leaves should be dried, about 100 grams of dry matter is put in a liter of boiling water and left to stand for 1 hour in it. The resulting decoction has a coloring effect, gives a darker skin tone. 2-3 times a day the skin is rubbed with a swab soaked in the decoction.
