Necessary products: 220 g plain tempeh, 1 small onion, 1 sweet green pepper, 2 cloves garlic, 1 tsp. chili powder, 1 tsp. cumin, 2 tbsp. soy sauce, 1 can of 425 g tomato sauce, salt, pepper, 1/4 tsp. vegetable oil, hamburger cakes or bread with crust
Method of preparation: The oil is heated to medium temperature. The tempee, cut into cubes, is sauteed in it until it acquires a golden color. Cut the onion and pepper into cubes and add. Cook until soft. Finely chop the garlic and add. When it releases its aroma, the spices are added tempering. After about 2 minutes, add the tomato sauce. Allow to simmer for 10 minutes until thickened. Season with salt and pepper. Serve on toasted hamburger cakes.
Tempe with apricots
Necessary products: 250 g tempeh, 2 tbsp. vegetable oil, 2 tbsp. soy sauce, 1 tbsp. vinegar, 2 tbsp. apricot jam, 1 clove garlic, crushed
Method of preparation: Stew for about 20 minutes, cut into squares and place in a bowl.
Mix the fat, vinegar, jam and crushed garlic well. Pour the marinade over the tempo. Marinova is about 2 hours, during which stir twice.
The marinated tempeh is baked on the barbecue on all sides, occasionally spreading with the marinade. It is ready when it acquires a golden-brown tan.
Tempe pate with carrots
Necessary products: 250 g tempeh, 1 tsp. red pepper, 1 tbsp. tahini, 1/4 tsp. cumin, 1 clove garlic, 1 tbsp. soy sauce, 1/4 tsp. turmeric, 1/2 tsp. chopped carrots, 1/2 tsp. chopped onion
Method of preparation: The tempo is simmered for 20 minutes. The garlic clove is crushed. All ingredients, except carrots and onions, are mashed until smooth. Add onions and carrots to the result and mix by hand. Leave the pate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before use.
