Tequila, Mexico's most popular alcoholic beverage, is the basis for many world-famous cocktails, including Margarita. It is a type of brandy that is produced from the Agave tequila plant and can be consumed at any time of the day. Here's what it's interesting to know about tequila and its history:

9. Tequila is subjected to double distillation, after which white tequila is obtained. Depending on how long it will be left to stand in wooden barrels, the rested and aged tequila are obtained, respectively.
10. Agave is also used to make mezcal, also an emblematic alcoholic beverage for Mexico. When bottling mezcal, a special type of worm is placed in the bottle, which contributes to the refinement of the taste and aroma of this type of tequila.
