The highest levels of vitamin C and provitamin A (beta-carotene). The fruits also contain large amounts of potassium and copper, as well as small doses of almost all minerals. Carotenoids, polyphenols, flavonoids, ketahins, tannins, etc. - All these antioxidants can be found in it.
The best for consumption is fresh mango. It can also be taken canned, dried, in desserts and jams, in juice or nectar, as well as a side dish to meat and fish. In 100 grams of the product there are 66 kcal, 0.6 g of protein, 0.4 unsaturated fats, 15 g of carbohydrates and 2 g of fiber.
Many people wonder how to actually eat this exotic fruit. It's very easy. The fruit is washed well. Cut into three pieces so that the middle piece is like a strip about a centimeter wide. It is good to cut exactly and close to the stone.
The other two meaty pieces are the most important, as they have the most meat. Use the tip of the knife to make several cross cuts, being careful not to cut the bark. Then they turn and spread like a fan. The one-centimeter strip is also carefully peeled off. And - it's time to eat.
Little is known about the health benefits of mango. And they are many. It helps maintain normal blood pressure levels and improves kidney and gastrointestinal function.
In addition, it strengthens the walls of blood vessels, thus protecting against cardiovascular disease. Mango also protects the skin from harmful external influences and keeps it fresh and smooth.
And because it does not contain saturated fat and cholesterol, it is an ideal ingredient for most diets, without of course overdoing the amount, as it is rich in carbohydrates.
