The mint is a good antispasmodic. In addition to relieving abdominal pain, it helps with menstrual cramps and muscle spasms. Thanks to its antiseptic and soothing properties, with a decoction of it you can improve the work of the digestive tract, eliminate flatulence and colic, stop diarrhea, prevent nausea and vomiting.
To do this, prepare a decoction as follows: 2 tablespoons of dried mint leaves pour 2 cups boiling water and leave for 20-30 minutes to infuse, then strain. Drink 15-20 minutes before meals in a glass or half.
If you use daily mint decoction, you can get rid of bad breath and relieve inflammation of the gums and throat. Use the above decoction for gargling and gurgling in case of problems with the oral cavity and throat.
Peppermint tea stabilizes the nervous system, improves sleep, helps relieve nervous tension, relieve anxiety, normalizes blood pressure and has a reputation as a good headache remedy. To prepare it, you need a tablespoon of dried leaves or a sprig of fresh. Fill them with a glass of boiling water and leave for 15 minutes. For a more pleasant taste and stronger effect, drink with honey.
Mint is great for coughs, and is also a natural antiseptic and diuretic, strengthens the immune system and increases tone. Helps to lower the temperature and unclog the nose, soothes pain and tension. Therefore mint decoction is a good remedy in colds and viral diseases.

Especially for young children and babies, the decoction is prepared from a teaspoon of dried mint in a glass of water, which boil for 3 minutes and strain immediately. Babies are given 1 teaspoon 3 times a day.
Mint has the ability to regulate the hormonal balance in women's bodies by reducing excess testosterone. Therefore, it is recommended for polycystic ovaries, menstrual irregularities and other hormonal problems in women. Decoction for these cases can be prepared as 1 teaspoon of mint boil in a glass of water for 10 minutes on low heat and strain. Take 1 cup 2 times a day.
For the same reason, men should not overdo it with mint decoction, because they can reduce their potency with prolonged use.
Mint decoction is not recommended with a tendency to heartburn, allergies to menthol, low blood pressure. For those suffering from chronic diseases, young children and pregnant women, it is mandatory to consult a doctor before use!
