Unlike mushrooms and mushrooms, you will rarely find olives on the market. The truth is that they are widespread in our country, and their main advantage, along with their excellent taste is that they have virtually no duplicates.
The buttercups grow in pine forests and are known as true olive trees or borovki. They are popular all over Europe and in our country, because with them you can prepare all kinds of culinary delicacies.
Before we show you what mushroom dishes you can use olives for, we will remind you that when consuming this type of mushrooms, their skin must be removed.
In practice, you can use the olives for any recipes you can think of - mushroom soups, stew them with butter as an appetizer with mushrooms or make a mushroom sauce from them. You can add the olives to your favorite meat stew, whether it's chicken, beef or pork.
In case you are a vegetarian, you can cook potatoes with butter in the oven, why not an appetizing rice with butter. Remember that, like all mushrooms, olives absorb any spices well.
Improvise, not forgetting that garlic and black pepper are a great addition to mushrooms.
And another idea - since this type of mushroom loves pine forests, you can put a thin pine branch or a cone to decorate the plate in which you will serve your dish.
The buttercups they can be very easily marinated and consumed the next day or can be sealed in mushrooms in jars for further consumption.
Marinated olives in jars
To marinate them, you will need about 1.5 kg of mushrooms, which are not washed, and with the help of a brush they are only cleaned, and their skin is removed. If desired, they can be cut if they are larger.
In a large enough bowl, boil 3 tsp. water, 1 tsp. vinegar, 1 tsp. oil, 1 tbsp. salt and 1 tbsp. sugar. Optionally and in case you like the listed spices, you can add a little bay leaf, mustard seeds, a few grains of pepper and allspice.
When the mixture boils, add the mushrooms and let them cook for 10 minutes. When they are ready, fill jars with them, adding the marinade. You can also add a few cloves of garlic and parsley.
Close the jars tightly and turn them upside down until completely cooled. After 24 hours, they are fit for consumption, but store them in the refrigerator. If you want to consume them much later, it is good to sterilize them.
