According to some nutritionists, a few tablespoons of fresh lemon juice a day is enough to stop thinking about how many calories you have consumed. The juice must be taken on an empty stomach. It is also good to dilute with water that is at room temperature.

Among the most common diets with lemons is precisely the one in which almost any food is allowed without overdoing the amount. Only pasta, coffee, juices, sodas and alcohol are not recommended.

The regime is two weeks, and the condition is to drink lemon and water every day. On the first day of the diet take a glass of water and juice of one lemon, on the second 2 glasses and 2 lemons and so every day you increase the amount until the sixth day. On the seventh day, squeeze three lemons in a three-liter jug, add water and a spoonful of honey.

The drink prepared in this way should be drunk during the day. The next 8 days, squeeze 6 lemons and drink them with six glasses of water for the whole day, just like on the sixth day. Then every day reduce the water and lemons until day 13, when you will be at the beginning - 1 cup of water and 1 lemon. On the 14th day the drink is made again as on the seventh day.

The regime of Teresa Chung, an American nutritionist, is similar. According to the American, lemon can help us fight weight gain and normalize metabolism. Of course, Chung also points out the useful ingredients of the yellow and sour fruit - lemons are rich in vitamin C, which in turn helps absorb calcium, which in turn strengthens bones. Lemons also help cleanse the liver and break down fats.

Chung thinks that her regime is very valuable because it is very simple and it is not necessary to spend any special time on it. The basic principles of this lemon diet are to add lemon to everything that is consumed and to drink it every day on an empty stomach (at least an hour before a meal) in a glass of warm water with freshly squeezed lemon.

Chung's recommendations are to reduce fried foods and eat at least a kilogram of vegetables and fruits a day. Chung claims that the diet is suitable for a lifelong diet, so it is not limited to any time during which a person is expected to lose weight.

The latter regime, which is often recommended, especially as the warmer months approach, is quite extreme. It is a purification with lemon and honey, which lasts two days, during which nothing but the drink is consumed.

You need 15 lemons and 50 g of honey - the lemons are squeezed in a jug, honey is added and then poured with water, which should not be carbonated or mineral. The regimen is more for cleansing the body, but it weakens - in the end you lose food for 48 hours. Only lemon-copper mixture, water and green tea are allowed.

When taking any regimen, be sure to consult a specialist, because you can hurt yourself. And remember that no matter how useful lemons are, they should be consumed in moderation. Therefore, it is best to bet on a normal diet and just include lemons in your menu as helpers in the fight against weight.
