Teenagers are one of the most difficult people we can face. And although at this age they have passed the phase when they do not want to eat anything, the consumption of certain foods can also be a big problem for them. These are the so-called useful foods in two words. For example, it sounds much more attractive for a teenager to have lunch with a doner than with stewed vegetables, which are undoubtedly more useful for the growing body.
In this article we have prepared several options for healthy meals that can become a great weekly menu for a young person, full of many vitamins, proteins and nutrients, but at the same time turned into a culinary temptation.
1. Pizza, but not quite: Who doesn't love pizza? But it is made from dough and quite often it is the basis of overweight. So replace the base of this Italian dish with potatoes. You can make mashed potato dough or arrange sliced potatoes in a pan and bake them. You can experiment on top, depending on your child's preferences.
2. Oatmeal - no! Oatmeal: Oatmeal is extremely useful because, in addition to containing many vitamins, they satiate us for a long time. The problem here is that in most cases, when teenagers hear about something useful, they run away. So turn oatmeal into a sweet base. Mash them and turn them into a powder that can be used instead of flour. Instead of sugar, use honey, and for greater taste, add walnuts, which are very good for the brain.
3. Vegetables that do not eat…: Spinach, carrots, cauliflower, peas - "do you hate me so much", most teenagers would say in their minds when they are served such vegetables. The truth is that to get a teenager to eat healthy foods, you need a trick. Potato meatballs are very suitable for handling. In addition to potatoes, spinach, broccoli, cauliflower and other vegetables can be added to the filling. They can be mashed so that they do not feel so much, but at the same time be present in the dish. Garnished with garlic sauce, which corresponds well with the potatoes, there is no way the child can not be "tricked" and eat healthy food. In other words: "The tarikat was bullied."
4. Protein is important: The problem here is not so big - meat is among the favorite products for teenagers. The difficulty in this case comes from the heat treatment, which if not fried, is not liked by most youngsters. The subtlety here is to flavor the meat so that it is accepted even if it is roasted or cooked. Chicken breasts in foil in the oven, garnished with yogurt and garlic sauce, seasoned with paprika, salt, basil and of course - a little butter - an irresistible temptation for all ages.
5. Ice cream? - Yes please! Ice cream is an integral part of a child's desires. Here's how to do it yourself: Take bananas, which are mashed together with fresh milk. Coconut shavings are added to them. Pour into ice cream molds or in a box and leave to freeze. Remove from the freezer and dip in a little melted dark chocolate. Let them tighten again and - the veil! The result is a delicious and healthy dessert for your teenager.
6. Sandwiches for connoisseurs: To make sure your child eats good food, you need to know what's in it. For this reason, it is best to prepare it yourself. Homemade bread is incomparable to any kupeshki. The stuffing - it can be yellow cheese, ham, sausage… And what will make the sandwich more useful are the vegetables that can be added - cabbage, cucumber, lettuce, tomato. As Winnie the Pooh says, "The more, the more."
7. Surprise! No matter how much we try to get "under the skin" of our children, this is not possible due to age differences. It is important to have understanding and harmony between parents and children, especially when they are in the difficult phase of their development - Puberty. So one day a week, let your child cook what he wants. Then explain to him what are the benefits and harms to the body of the dish he has adapted. Teenagers are smart enough to understand and think about what is good and what is not, so just believe in your child!
