A unique experiment proved that McDonald's does not make you fat. An American teacher underwent a diet with only food from the chain, with which he managed to lose as much as 17 kg in just 3 months.
It turns out not McDonald's, and the choice we make is what makes us fat. This is what teacher John Cisna says. The American underwent an experiment organized by his students, which fully confirmed this maxim.
In the beginning, Sisna weighed 126 kilograms. His students designed a program that had three basic rules - to take 2000 calories a day, to diversify their menu and to do light exercises. The food he ate was provided to him free of charge by McDonald's. The fast food chain was also interested in finding out how Sisna's body would be affected after receiving only her.
The experiment lasted 3 months. If the man had gained weight despite the rules, the blame would have been on McDonald's food. However, the result brings only pros for the chain.
At the end of the experiment, at the official measurement, John Cisna weighed 17 kg less. Another surprising effect was that as he lost weight, he lowered his cholesterol from 279 to 170.
This proves that if we eat sensibly, the type of food is not the most important thing. The most useful thing is to eat our favorite foods, but rarely in the norm, trying to keep our menu varied.
