Interestingly, the upper jaw of the swordfish occupies about a third of the length of its body. Adults of the species do not have teeth.
This type of fish is large. It grows up to 4.5 meters and can reach 650 kilograms. Swordfish have an elongated body and long fins. Her back is painted black or blue, and sometimes dark brown. This species of fish is considered the fastest in the world - it can reach speeds of up to 130 km / h.
