Old legends say that after Napoleon Bonaparte took power, hard times came for the courtiers. He did not particularly appreciate the efforts of the culinary masters, swallowing the food served to him without even interrupting the conversation.
However, he had a favorite dish that always lifted his spirits - a pancake with a cutlet.
One day, while preparing the dream dish for him, Napoleon accidentally entered the kitchen. Then he decided to prove that he is greater in this area as well. That's why he took the pan from the cook's hands and set to work with the confidence of a general.
Although he did not admit anything in his life was impossible, the moment he turned the pancake over, it fell not in the pan, but on the floor. Then it became clear to the courtiers that one could not rule absolutely everything in this world.

Necessary products for 4 servings: 4 eggs, 200 g flour, 500 ml milk, about 80-100 butter or oil, a little salt.
Mix the flour and salt with the eggs and milk until a thick mixture is obtained. The fat is divided into 4 parts. Spread one part of the hot pan and pour a ladle ¼ of the mixture. As soon as the pancake hardens and its underside turns brown, it is carefully separated from the pan and turned over. The second side is also fried until golden brown.
Slide the pancake into a plate and keep it warm. Prepare the other 3 pancakes in the same way.
When served as a dessert, they can be filled with jam, syrup or fruit.
When served as a main course, fried mushrooms and cubes of ham, asparagus and vegetables are served with the pancake.
They are very suitable with spinach filling as a garnish for well-fried cutlets.
