A young baker from Veliki Preslav and his wife pleasantly surprised their fellow citizens by preparing a 400-meter lucky pie, with which the whole town prepared a festive feast.
The giant pastry is the work of 25-year-old culinary virtuoso Hristo Hristo and his wife Tsvetelina. The baker recently returned from Cyprus, where he studied the intricacies of the craft.
After returning to his native land, he opened a bakery, and during the Christmas and New Year holidays he decided to show our people what he had learned abroad / see the gallery /.
He and Tsveti spent more than four hours of their time preparing the traditional Bulgarian delicacy. The two of them stormed into the kitchen at midnight and finished the pie at dawn. To prepare it, they used a sack of flour, ten liters of fat and fifteen kilograms of cheese.
According to Hristo, the most difficult part of the whole endeavor was the rotation of the pie, because the crusts are more special. While he dealt with them, his girlfriend put the cheese. Even another lady took part in the cooking so that the cookies could be ready in time for the residents of Veliki Preslav.
The beginning of the banquet feast was set by the Deputy Mayor of the old capital - Dimo Bodurov. After he broke the culinary work, young and old ate from it. Seventeen special fortunes, donated by its creators, were placed in the huge pie.
