For the dough you will need 2 and 2/3 teaspoons of flour, 1 tablespoon of salt, ¾ a teaspoon of lard and 6 tablespoons of cold water.
2 teaspoons of fresh cherries are needed for the filling. ½ a cup of sugar, ¼ a tablespoon of cinnamon and 2 tablespoons of corn flour.
In the syrup should be mixed 1 teaspoon of sugar, 1 teaspoon of milk and a tablespoon of cinnamon.
How to prepare them:In a bowl, mix the flour, salt and lard until lumps are formed. Then water is added and the dough is formed into a ball. The mixture is wrapped in nylon and left in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
During this time, mix the cherries and sugar in a large bowl and leave for about 20 minutes. Once the sugar is absorbed into the fruit, place the mixture on a hot plate at a moderate temperature and add the cornflour and cinnamon. Stir until thickened and remove from the heat.
Then take the smoothed dough and roll it out. Cut it into squares and add a spoon or two of the cherry mixture to each of them. Fold them and close them with a fork.
Place the trigons on baking paper and bake them in an oven at 190 degrees Celsius until golden brown.
While baking, prepare the syrup by mixing the milk, sugar and vanilla in a moderate oven until the sugar dissolves. Pour the prepared syrup over the triguns and when they cool, you can eat at will.
