The mania for weight loss conquered the Bulgarians as well. More and more young people are doing everything, just to get closer as a vision to their favorite models or actors who sculpt bodies in magazines.

Above all, weight loss pills are used because, according to many, this is the fastest way to lose weight without tedious exercise and without restricting food.

This in most cases turns out to be deceptive. These pills do not work, but at the same time they contain harmful substances and chemicals that, even if they do not affect you at the moment, will be returned to your body in years to come.

Some of them claim to be "entirely herbal", which is a misleading statement. Herbal formulas and supplements are not regulated and may not even contain what is written on the label.

Studies by consumer organizations show that diet pills of unclear origin and composition can be ineffective at best and, at worst, dangerous to health.

Some of the side effects include: nervousness, high blood pressure, sleep problems, fatigue, dizziness, heart arrhythmia and palpitations, headache, blurred vision, vomiting, hair loss, heart attack, stroke and even colon cancer.

An overdose of diet pills can even kill you in the end. Therefore, if you have decided to resort to medication to deal with the problem, be sure to seek medical advice.

Among the most dangerous weight loss products are Reductil, which is banned in a number of countries, as well as Xenical. Among the dangerous substances in certain quantities are bitter orange extract and ephedra. Few people manage to lose weight permanently with pills. Most have a so-called yo-yo effect.

With some preparations it has an effect - it weakens in the second, third week, because they block the action of a certain enzyme, as a result of which the breakdown of fats begins.

Excessive use of diet pills for too long, however, leads to a violation of fat balance and proper functioning of the body, which at a later stage is reflected by the body as replenishment. Any fat that is taken in is stored in the form of extra pounds.
