In these people, a 20 percent improvement in the rate of dilation of blood vessels was observed, and the risk of cardiovascular disease was reduced.

And the other placebo group had no improvement in results. The drugs usually lowered their systolic blood pressure by 9 millimeters and diastolic blood pressure by 5 millimeters.
