The bloodthirsty diet was created by a doctor named Weston Price, who had interests in the field of raw food. He was a follower of the theory that the once primitive inhabitants of our planet were much healthier, precisely because they lived only on raw meat.
Derek initially did not agree to undergo this diet, but over time his health continued to deteriorate. He despaired and decided to give it a try. He started the diet with raw meat from his domestic goat, from which he had previously obtained milk.
Gradually, his daily diet changed and standard foods were replaced only with raw muscle, tendons, organs and fat.
Nance says that in the beginning the consumption of raw meat brought him diarrhea and extremely bad taste in his mouth, but gradually his body adapted. Today, five years later, he says he feels wonderful and healthier than ever.
