A farmers' market, which opened on November 15, will delight Ruse residents with healthy and organic products without a gram of preservatives or other additives. The market will be held every Saturday.
At the farmers' market in the Danube town, producers will offer a variety of organic products every week to satisfy the desires of customers striving for a healthy lifestyle.
Dairy products, legumes, fruits, herbs, spices, honey, halva, lentils and natural juices will be just some of the products that will be displayed every week on the stands of the farmers' market in Ruse.
Among the most interesting products on the market were homemade cakes based on grandmother's recipes without preservatives, as well as chocolate, which is made only from cocoa and is without leticin - the only one in the Balkans.
According to Mariana Mircheva, a producer of cold-pressed cooking oils, organic farming is uniting more and more people. Mircheva says she works mainly with Bulgarian farmers for nuts and seeds.
The expert told News7 that in recent years there has been a strong interest in chokeberry juices and wines, as well as sweets without preservatives made from einkorn. Customers buy such organic products mainly for their children.
Producers and farmers unite in their desire to offer mainly organic products to customers. Experts say that in our country, as well as in Western Europe, people are increasingly interested in the quality of the food they consume.
The idea for the construction of the farmers' market is on the municipal markets in Ruse, and the goal is to constantly expand the range offered to consumers.
The farmer's market is located in the central part of the cooperative market, located on Tsar Osvoboditel Boulevard in the Danube town.
Similar farmers' markets have already been opened in Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna and Burgas. They are obliged to comply with Ordinance 26, which regulates the sale of their own goods.
