Pasta is made from durum wheat and is so famous that it is considered a true symbol of the Italian style in the world, as are spaghetti and pizza.
The history of pasta is very ancient and mysterious. Many experts claim that they are of Eastern origin and were transferred to Italy in 1200, a period in which the country had trade relations with Asia. It was these trade relations that allowed the importation of various specialties for centuries and so they became part of the Italian gastronomic religion.
Originally the term pasta is used to denote most pasta, which are so many that even today in some parts of southern Italy are used to denote certain types that are completely different from the known short tube.
The real revolution was in 1700, when the first pasta machines appeared in Naples. Consumption is varied - from vegetable soups to pasta. Thus, pasta began to acquire its identity and be offered on every corner of Neapolitan.
Pasta is a symbol of Italian style, simplicity and tradition. A plate can cause real pleasure. They can be prepared in different ways - boiled, baked, with cheese, sugar or with different sauces.
