Today, making a homemade cheese pie is easy. You just go to the store, buy yogurt, eggs, cheese, butter and a package of fine crusts and you're almost done.

As tasty as it is, however, something is missing. Especially if in your childhood you tried at least once the delicious authentic granny pies.

If you want to create precious memories of your children and grandchildren, here is how to prepare homemade fine pastry crusts, with which the traditional Bulgarian dish will have an unforgettable taste.

With this specialty you can become famous at home and even the object of envy among your acquaintances, for example in the office.

The dough for fine crusts should be stretchable. To make it, it is prepared from one kilogram of flour, a teaspoon of salt, 500 milliliters of cold water, two eggs, 1 tablespoon of vinegar and two tablespoons of oil.

The flour is poured into a pile, making a well in the middle. Put the eggs, salt, vinegar and oil inside.

Start kneading by adding a little water. Knead until a homogeneous soft mixture is obtained. When ready, divide the dough into small balls the size of an apple.

Place them in a floured pan and cover them with a damp cloth to rest. Let stand for twenty minutes, making sure the temperature in the room is not less than twenty degrees.

Once the dough has matured, flatten each ball and roll it out to a diameter of twenty-five to thirty centimeters.

Each of these crusts is placed on a canvas sprinkled with flour and stretched on a large transparent sheet (crust), the ends of which are stretched with both hands in a circle.

Stretching should be done carefully so as not to tear the bark. The thick edges are cut off, immersed in water and kneaded again.

Sprinkle the prepared filling on the sheet and roll up the crust with the help of the tablecloth or canvas. With that, the pie is almost ready.

Baking a pie made from homemade fine crusts is no different from that made with store-bought ones. The taste on the other hand is completely different, as you will see for yourself. Enjoy your meal!
