The rarest grape variety known to date, the Roman Ruby, was sold at auction in Japan. The amount for which the fruit bunch was purchased reached $ 11,000.
The owner of the grapes is Takamaro Konishi, who owns a supermarket chain in the land of the rising sun.
The Japanese plan to display the phenomenally expensive grapes in some of his stores, and then treat some of his customers with them.
