This summer, one of the favorite appetizers of the Bulgarians - sprats, rises in price by one lev, and the portion of 300 grams will be offered the cheapest for 4 levs.
The reason for the increase in the price of sprat by BGN 1 is due to the fact that it was imported from Poland and Ukraine and not caught in our country.
Coastal restaurants in Balchik are already selling sprat more expensive, saying wholesale fish prices on the exchanges have also risen.
Many consumers complain that the appetizer offered does not have enough meat to compensate for the higher price this year.

The black grouse and the leper, whose catch remains low, remain more expensive this year as well. In the restaurants the expensive fish will be offered at BGN 12 per portion of black grouse and BGN 15 for sea bass.
Anchovies, on the other hand, will remain at a price of BGN 5, and kaya - from BGN 6.
Most of the seafood this year will keep their prices, which is why no increase in the price of fish soup is expected. This summer the soup will remain without prices between 2 and 3 leva.
The portion of mussels will also keep its average price of BGN 5, and the shrimps - of BGN 8.
Coffee and beer remain cheap this year, for which a study some time ago showed that in Bulgaria the drinks are offered the cheapest compared to other countries in Europe.
On the beaches of Varna, the small draft beer will be offered for BGN 1.50, and the big one - for BGN 2. Non-alcoholic beer in a small bottle will not cost one lev.
A cup of coffee in the native sea resorts will cost about 2 leva.
The restaurants in the resort of St. St. Constantine and Elena welcome tourists with relatively low prices this summer, as the portion of duck is offered for 6 levs, horse mackerel - for 7 levs, and you can eat a meatball for 1.50 levs per piece.
Beer and coffee also keep last year's prices of about 2 levs.
