A 125 g package of butter is the product that has marked the most serious jump in prices in the last year. In just 12 months, the price of butter has risen by 53 percent.

The wholesale price of cheese has also increased. In one year it has risen in price by BGN 0.15 per kilogram wholesale, according to data from the State Commission on Commodity Exchanges and Markets.
