They set a record for serving Mexican tacos at a festival in Guadalajara. The chefs served 44,000 tacos dishes during the delicious festival, which took place on 15 February.

Tacos is prepared throughout Latin America, and the dish is most often a folded cornbread, called a tortilla, which contains chicken, minced beef or some other type of meat.

To prepare the dishes, Mexican chefs used about 300 liters of sauce, more than 36 thousand kilograms of tortilla and one ton of meat, according to the organizers of the event. The line of all these dishes was more than 2,700 meters long.

In fact, the Guinness Book of World Records for food is really impressive. One of the most interesting is for the most prepared sandwiches in an hour. The record was set in 2013, and the number of sandwiches was 2,706. Between each two slices is a salad wrapped in bacon, sausage and cheese.

Another culinary record is that for the longest sushi roll - it was made in 2007 and is exactly two kilometers long. More than 900 kilograms of rice, more than 3,000 cucumbers and as many pickled radishes were used to prepare it.

The longest paste is prepared by the Japanese company Lawson Inc. The company produced only one thread with a length of 3.78 kilometers and then welded it all.

In the United States, fast food is respected, so no one will be surprised that this is where the record for the heaviest sandwich was set. It weighed 352 kilograms and contained meat, vegetables, sauces and bread.

And if you want to try something more exquisite than sandwiches or sushi, you can enjoy Almas caviar. For this purpose, however, you will dig deep, because this is the most expensive caviar in the world, which was recorded in the Guinness Book at the end of 2014.

A kilo of caviar will cost you about 30 thousand euros. The high price is due to the fact that the caviar is obtained from the extremely rare Iranian beluga fish - its eggs are almost transparent, but are often called golden.

Another feature of the caviar is that it cannot be extracted from any specimen of the fish - the beluga must be an adult.
