In Bulgaria, honeysuckle is grown as an ornamental plant, but it is also found as a wild species.

Over the years, it has gradually spread to Europe, Russia (Caucasus), Southwest and Central Asia, Japan and China. In our country it can be seen throughout the country as ruderal or weed in crops.

Another interesting species widespread in Greece is Amaranthus blitum or purple sincere, which is an edible annual plant, 80-150 cm high. It is grown in our southern neighbor, as well as in many places around the world, mainly as a leafy vegetable.
