Another scam in the local supermarkets has shone in recent days. It turned out that the advertised goods at the summer promotion are not in the stores at all, customers warn the Standard newspaper.
Extremely low prices appear in the catalogs of some food chains, as well as in television commercials. During a tour of the respective supermarket, it turns out that the advertised product is missing from the store.
According to signals from scalded customers, this is a regular practice in a Kaufland, located in the capital's Buxton district.
Last week, the chain stores announced the promotion of several types of roses. The wine was to be offered to customers at the promotional price of BGN 9.
However, an inspection revealed that there was not a single bottle of promotional wine on the store's shelves. Even in the other Kaufland stores in Sofia it is not found from the cheaper wine.
After days of going around several times a day in search of the famous wine, it turned out that it was not loaded in any of the chain's outlets. On the other hand, I spent over BGN 100, shopping for something small and profitable in almost every store - says one of the readers of the Standard newspaper.
There are several reasons for the missing product. On the one hand, supermarkets use promotional goods as a publicity stunt to attract customers to stores. Once they enter a site, consumers will buy something and spend money anyway, even if they can't find the promotional product.
Experts do not rule out the possibility that the supplier who did not deliver the bottles on time may be to blame for the discrepancy with the wine. According to the third version, however, only the staff of the respective store uses this promotion to procure cheaper products.
Customers say that among the constant scams of supermarkets in our country is to put labels with a lower price on products that cost more. You can find out about the price discrepancy only after looking at your receipt.
